Ska Euphoria Pale Ale:
Greetings friends and welcome to the 1st beer in our 2 jaunt through a winter wonderland full of beer. Yes friends, its time for the greatest season of beer and since this is becoming the year of the can, we start with a can of beer from those funky guys at Ska and their winter pale ale: Euphoria. Today’s beer is once again in the common 12 oz can that sports the familiar skeleton and is probably one of the more visually appealing beer cans I’ve seen in a while. The beer pours a nice medium amber color with a nice cream colored head that is very thin and dissipates quickly down and nose of hops and a hints of spice. The beer’s initial taste is like a decent pale ale that sports a side kick of winter spices underneath a dominate hop skunk that lingers on the back end. Not a great winter beer but not the worst either, really, it’s just there. I don’t think it’s worth hunting down just by itself but if it’s an option and you’re in a pale ale mood, it’s worth a spin.
