Good news everybody! Today is the last day of Budweiser! Lets all celebrate! Wooo….okay that’s enough party animal. Today’s entry is Budweiser Select 55, a light version of a light beer. *Groan* Okay, at this point, if you’re drinking this beer, why are you drinking beer at all? This beer is closer to water than beer and really tastes like a glass of malt-flavored yellow water (gross, right?). Smell is subtle, coming across the nose as a light hoppy smell. No back end taste what so ever. On the bright side, there isn’t that lingering film that most Budweiser beers have done this week. Beer sports 55 calories and 2.4% ABV, again with the water idea….
Thank God this week is over. Onto bigger and better beers tomorrow, something appropriate for Texas Independence Month. Yes I said month, we do things bigger here in Texas, remember?
