Rahr and Son's Rahr's Blonde:

Hello friends. While we all morn the Texas loss today in the Tournament, we’ll all solider own knowing that at least Oklahoma wasn’t there and we were. Today’s brew is Rahr and Son’s Rahr’s Blonde. This beer, while being a micro-brew and regionally unique, is about as close to a “run of the mill” beer we’ll find this week. The beer pours nicely with a good head that lingers and gives off a slight banana smell with a under tone of malts. The taste begins with banana but very, very quickly leaves the beer and doesn’t come back. What lingers afterwards is akin to Budweiser than anything else, a slightly sweet under tone that walks hand in hand with malts used by Bud. Not a very unique beer but not a bad one either, just, well, meh.
