Barbar:
Today’s libation hails from that wonderful little world called Belgium. Know for waffles and Smurfs and the Flemish, this brew is born out of the tiny village of Quenast, south of Brussels. Brewed using water from artisan wells, barley malts, hops and honey this beer sports a pale orange color and mild fizz that is expected in your traditional secretly brewed (really!) Belgium beers. Nice flavors of bread, honey and hops, a good beer for a night of drinking just one. After drinking it I wasn’t really in the mood for anything and actually switched to sweet tea to try and get the lingering hop flavor out of my mouth.
