Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout:

Today’s brew is a first, Coffee Beer. Brewed by Lagunitas in Petaluma, CA, this cappuccino stout is marketed as a breakfast beer! How cool is that??? Imagine sitting at one of th0ose fancy brunch places that serve mimosas with the meal and you ask for a breakfast beer, makes me think the reaction would be a kin to this. The beer is made to taste more like beer than coffee but that does not stop it from emitting a nice aroma of roasted coffee beans and a hint of caramel. One thing that Lagunitas has done that other breweries have not adopted is virtual tastings. Available here, a handful of their brews have this feature and I’ll admit, it adds to the curiosity of the wanting to try their catalog of brews more. Nice marketing fellas!
