Xingu:
Now today’s libation is one of my secret loves that only a few know about so far so I guess this is our formal announcement. Ladies and Gentlemen meet Xingu. Hailing from Brazil Xingu is a wonderfully tasty dark brew inspired by ancient Indian recipes from the region. The brew, while sporting the color of Guinness, has much more flavor and a lighter body. The beer produces a light caramelized flavor throughout the brew while also keeping the silkiness of a stout. I love drinking this beer as a standalone. Like a good whiskey or scotch, this beer features complex flavors best enjoyed by itself, no food accompaniment need nor wanted.
