Bayou Teche Biere Pale:
Today’s beer once again comes from our flavorful neighbors to the east. Bayou Teche’s Biere Pale is a Louisiana style Pale ale that “is crafted to enhance the unique cuisine and lifestyle of South Louisiana”. With all the spice and kick of a traditional Cajun and Creole cuisine, this brew allows those flavors to be enjoyed and then quickly extinguished with a cold gulp of this brew. Like most pale ales, this ale features a stronger hop flavor with a constant under current of “mellow bitterness” (nicely put). Like the website says, enjoy this one with your traditional Louisiana dishes and expect to put away a couple if you’re eating something spicy. The pairing is very delicious.
