Red Hook Wit:
Ah Red Hook, you and Abita should get together and create some uber-beer that would be so awesome that it would get Gil the Landfill drunk. Until then, I will relish your individual beers with much admiration. For instance, my seasonal favorite: Wit from Red Hook. This ginger flavored beer is awesome, providing just enough ginger to give it the edge in flavor but not enough that would cause an over powering flavor that can come from it. I really can’t find a good pairing for this beer other than the couch and a football game and a recently rescued red head from that damnable island.
